About

With the tremendous advancements that we are continually making in science and medicine, we sometimes need to take a step back and look at the broader picture – just because we can doesn’t always mean that we should.

There’s a lot happening in our fast paced biologically technological world and these are my thoughts and musings on the newest happenings in the world of bioethics.

I’m a medical ethicist, teacher, and rabbi in Boca Raton, Florida. I self published my first book, Defining the Moment: Understanding Brain Death in Halakhah and have a few thoughts on book publishing as well.

I’m also an avid runner – so thrown in with the bioethics, you might get a thought or two about lacing running shoes or active hydration.
